My postponed exhibition of watercolour collages at Brew Folkestone is finally going ahead, albeit without a private view. Who would have thought that the exhortation to hug those you love could be seen as dangerous? When I made the work, just before lockdown, I was thinking of how hugging brings together different bodies in an intimate embrace – I was thinking of warmth, comfort, reassurance, juxtaposition and closeness.
All pieces are in bleached tulip frames, glazed with museum glass and mounted on conservation float mounts with acid free, water resistant back boards. They are priced at f£320 each. Please get in touch if you are interested in buying a piece.
